Steve Pile

In addition to songwriting and performing, Pile is also an educator. For many years, Steve has taught private lessons on guitar, bass, piano and drums. He has a Masters in Education in Music and credential from the University of San Francisco and teaches Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Rock Band full time at Sonoma Country Day School. He also is the co-founder, With Jali Bakary Konteh, of the Konteh Kunda School of Music in Gambia, West Africa, a school committed to passing on the rich Griot lineage to the next generation and international travelers.
